This scheme involved the re-development of the former Victorian Winwick Hospital. Building was restricted to the footprint of the former Hospital with the balance of the site forming parkland within a green belt setting.

The brief from Countryside Properties was to design a scheme of 300 houses using a mixture of existing and new house types. Elevational treatments were adapted to suit the Cheshire location.

Due to the size of the scheme it was decided to structure the project with a formal avenue and square to give a strong visual identity to the site entrance. This page shows the formal area consisting mainly of three storey "Regency" houses with coursed render at ground floor level, traditional sash windows large overhangs and metalwork to balconies.
